This bundle includes:
Ziggurat of Cihua - Deep in the tropical forests on the southern tip of the continent, an isolated tribe of lizard folk dedicate their daily lives to the worship of Cihua, the Serpentine Goddess. It is said that she is the one who poisons the waters of the surrounding marshes and wetlands, forcing away all but the most toxic and hardy of creatures, and provides fresh, clean water only to those who serve in her name. That the lizard folk are able to survive here at all is proof if her divine intervention, and those who suffer from the poisoned water are rightly punished as non-believers.
However it was not the tribe who built the ziggurat that is now the focus of their worship and source of their survival. They merely came across it when searching for a new home in the jungle. It is unknown how long it has existed, who created it, or what it's original purpose was. What is clear is that it is at the centre of the spread of disease and contagion that is slowly corrupting all of the surrounding lands.
Cihua'tal Jungle Village - A few hundred metres south of the Ziggurat of Cihua is Cihua'tal, a small settlement of lizard folk who worship the serpent goddess. The tribe is scattered throughout the surrounding jungle in small groups, but the centre of the community is here, and in times of celebration or danger they will congregate together.
The Ziggurat itself is closed off to all but the high shaman, Tlama Qrutzasz, who lives in the large hut in the North West of the village, and acts as both a spiritual leader and healer for the tribe. The warriors of the tribe, which constitutes all adults capable of wielding a spear, train in the Calmecac on the Eastern side of the village, a building which serves as both a garrison and town hall. They follow the orders of Atlax, the chieftain. A small market place serves as the centre of trade for the tribe, with good such as tools, pottery and textiles traded for fruits grown in the jungle and hunted animal meat and pelts. Following the party's descent through the Ziggurat, they will have to pass through the small settlement on their way out. How they are greeted will entirely depend on the choices they made when face to face with Cihua's avatar.
Primitive Village - A little way deeper into the forest from Cihua'tal is a small collection of simple huts. The settlement has no name and is home to a tribe of humans who have lived in the jungle for generations. They know little of the outside world and have a tentative alliance with the lizard folk. While they do not worship Cihua, they gladly trade meat and goods for the fresh water she provides. However they envy the easier lives of the current inhabitants of Cihua'tal and given the opportunity might be willing to help remove them.
