The City Buildings Map Bundle 04 contains Day, Night, 'Hidden Secrets' and Unfurnished variants of 11 different maps from 3 different locations, all designed to help you populate your larger Cities and Towns. A combined total of 46 new maps for your campaign in gridded or gridless format! Each map is highly detailed and contains inspiration for plot hooks, quest ideas, heroic deeds and nefarious activities.
This bundle includes:
The Carnelian Hotel - Famous throughout the city for it's beautiful red trees. It is said that the unique colouration is caused by a rare mineral in the soil, and the trees bloom in shades of rose, maroon and burgundy all year round. The hotel plays up this theme and lavishly decorates in interior with the same palette. Some have noted however that the varying scarlet and vermillion hues would perfectly hide any blood that happened to be spilled.
The Asylum - A little way outside the city, set back amongst trees and foot hills sits a building known only as 'The Asylum'. It is home to those whose minds have fled, who can no longer be a part of civilised society and sometimes even the criminally insane. Their 'care' is led by Dr. Siphor, a well kept man in his middle years. He maintains a presence in society and is the face of the Asylum to the outside world, raising funds for its services and upkeep. Many of the wealthier citizens are happy to oblige, but for the most part don't wish to hear about the details of what goes on behind the high stone walls. Dr Siphor is happy to keep it this way, and deliberately maintains an air of mystery about the place. Once a patient enters the Asylum they are rarely ever seen again, and no one, aside from the patients and nurses, truly knows what goes on inside. Even fewer are aware of the experiments that occur in the hidden laboratories below.
The Cultists Temple & Lair - A seemingly harmless sect worships in the Temple above, but the local Guard Captain believes there may be connections to cult activity. As the party explores the temple, they will find a haphazardly furnished backroom concealing a trapdoor that leads to the tunnels and rooms below. Will they try to sneak through, making their way past the common room, guards barracks and torture chambers to find the proof they need, or will they attempt to convince the high priest that they wish to join the cult and be led to the Chaos Maze beyond to face their innermost fears. If they get caught, either in a lie or just in the wrong place, they may be taken to the Ritual Chamber and be forced to undergo 'the Changing'.
