You hear a distinctive howl in the distance. The pack must be closing in. As you ready your sword and shield, you expect not to see the towering mass of fur eyeing you from the bushes. It is unnaturaly large and brawny for a wolf. The stories were true then. Right now, you regret not investigating further these local legends about the fabled Beast of Thurgovost. You should have asked for double that meager amount the burgomaster called "you pay". But at this exact moment, you have bigger problems.
