Clerics gain the Spiritual Weapon Spell at level 3, and they have to choose the form that weapon takes. When playing on a battlemap, it might be useful to have animated tokens available that the players might enjoy. Here is a selection of more traditional weapon forms a combatant Cleric may enjoy using for when summoning their Weapon:
Slashing weapons, called the weapons of Kings, are gold.
Bludgeoning weapons batter and bruise, and so are purple-blue.
Piercing weapons inflict deep wounds, and so are crimson red.
