Crumbling Tower

Hi everyone, and welcome to my Crumbling Tower map release! This 18x15 map features an old, crumbling tower that leans to one side and has its upper floor collapsed, lying in a pile of rubble on the ground. The tower is nestled in a wild and overgrown field, giving a sense of stories that have long been forgotten.

This map features the following levels:

Exterior: Features the exterior of the tower, the rubble pile, and players can see the open "roof", which is just the 3rd floor now exposed to the elements. I also added a variant with a blur effect in the event your players are on the "roof" level, as it gives a nice sense of depth.

1st Floor: With old, mold-covered crates and barrels, this floor feels weathered and aged. There is a stone staircase winding up the side of the tower, but the lower portion has collapsed, so your players must get creative to ascend to the 2nd level.

2nd Floor: What appears to be a room, now lying in a crumbled shambles. An old library sits against one wall with damp books that are surely ruined. A fallen wardrobe with a rat's nest and an old writing desk now sit silent with only the wind rustling through the open and broken windows. A once opulent canopy bed stands, now broken and discarded. Agastint, one of the walls, is a rusted iron ladder bolted to the wall, which leads to the "roof" level.

3rd Floor "Roof": With the top portion of the tower collapsed, the 3rd floor now serves as the building's roof. Its floors have begun to give way and crumble, being exposed to the elements and time. This serves as the perfect roost for a larger creature to protect their offspring!

Variants

I've created 6 different variants to help you set the perfect mood for your encounters. Each variant contains various weather effects such as fog, rain, and sun rays. Additionally, I created a "blur" version for the 3rd floor/roof to give a sense of height. The variants included in this pack are:

Dark Fairytale: This variant evokes a playful yet creepy atmosphere, with deep, darkened hues that bring out the rich colors of the map.
Sunny Day: A bright and cheerful version, focusing on a sunny and vibrant aesthetic to give a warm, inviting feel.
Ghostly: Bathed in an eerie green glow, this variant creates a haunted and spectral ambiance.
Gloom: This version tones down the map's colors, deepening the shadows to evoke a somber and moody environment.
Warm: A balanced mix of light and warmth, this variant enhances the map's vibrancy with rich, inviting colors.
Night: Illuminated by silvery moonlight, this version creates a serene yet mysterious nighttime setting.
