Whether you are role-playing in a grim-dark sci-fi universe or a space fantasy setting, these Noble Alien Cyborgs will kill your god and sleep on its grave.

The research team rejoiced! After years of slow sample collection, endless remote molecular scanning, painstakingly careful documentation of local ecology, and the most careful digging, the archaeological division of the Free Scientific University of Kepler Primaris were close to a breakthrough. The black pyramid as the students had taken to calling it was covered in ancient and undecipherable hieroglyphic runes laser cut into the very stone which in of itself was a previously unknown substance comparable to a high carbon metalloid with ten times the hardness of chromium. Two years ago when the gate was finally discovered 20 meters beneath the gray crystal capstone, it had been a moment to celebrate. The artfully decorated cyclopean gates were ready to swing open thanks to a carefully laid web of high tensile strength rope secured to the back of a large excavator. At this moment Professor Carter, the expedition leader was truly beside himself with the thrill of anticipation. When the entirety of the capstone was first dug out and it began collecting the sunlight of the planet’s star with a gentle hum, the man had nearly wept with joy to have been the first to witness a working piece of alien technology more ancient than the oldest civilization of the earth itself. Now, the idea that he was going to be part of the first group of explorers to delve into this unimaginable alien structure would be yet another thrilling highlight of his life. It had taken decades to even start this expedition, to be able to present enough evidence to the Intergalactic Federation of Star Systems to finally sanction and finance their dig. It had been 30 years since the first discovery of “the ruins” and in that time no human being was allowed to go near the mysterious black stone with any tool, let alone a shovel. As soon as it was discovered, it was immediately declared as an alien cultural heritage site and access to it was restricted until its true origins could be determined and it could be guaranteed that no space faring race would take offence to the desecration of their ancient sight. The political manoeuvring had taken nearly half a century but thanks to the University sponsors’ financial and political support, finally after all this time, Carter, no, the galaxy would know what secrets the mysterious structure held. The man’s head swam with the thought of how surreal this all was. The entire world around him seemed to slow down and his awareness of it slipped away, his entire focus concentrated on the single moment when the Excavator began to move steadily backwards, displacing the dirt under its threads and slowly, carefully, like waking a loved one from a deep sleep, the gate began to stir and then open.

Deep in the darkness of his obsidian sarcophagus the vanguard’s ocular systems came online.

Aeons ago, before homosapiens had conquered fire, arrogant people had conquered the galaxy. Leaving their frail bodies of weak flesh behind, they ascended to become glorious beings of immortal metal. A war was fought for the stars and the weapons they made brought the gods themselves low.

These are the God Slayer Nobles, an ancient people made of living metal, who’s arrogance knows no bounds. They proudly proclaim themselves to be the rightful rulers of the galaxy and cannot be killed, for after every battle they are simply re-forged. In this art pack you will find:
