Welcome, brave adventurer!

The desert setting is one of my favorites because so many things can happen here. Dangers lurk from under the sand, from the skies, from the inside of a violent sandstorm... Bandits, nomads, various monstrosities, and beasts - all parched and will stake their lives for a drop of water.

That's why I made this little trading post near oasis. With all the dangers listed above, imagine the power level of a single merchant living here and securing the only water source in a ten-mile radius. Make sure you emphasize that to your more violent and impulsive party members, such as a bard.
