The massive decker creaks through the fog-covered seas like a carcass left to rot upon the waves. The ship’s hull, riddled with gaping holes, exposes decaying wood and jagged beams that jut out like the ribs of a long-dead beast. Seaweed hangs over its sides in thick, slimy curtains, tangling with the ropes and rigging, while barnacles cluster in grotesque patterns, encrusting the wood like the diseased skin of a leper. The air around the ship smells of brine, rot, and something far worse—a strange, unsettling odor of decay mixed with an unnatural dampness. The constant groaning of the ship’s timbers, as if the very vessel itself is in pain, sets an eerie backdrop to its presence on the water. Inside, the planks are soft with rot underfoot, and the air is heavy with moisture, carrying faint echoes of the past that seem to whisper to those who dare step aboard.
