Hi Hi There.
This is a series of four maps that work well together. I will provide you with a story to use them in conjunction, but you can use them however you see fit.
Remembering the main story:
Our heroes have been hired by a renowned sage for a research mission: to copy ancient mystical runes found in various parts of the forest onto paper for study and understanding. It is said that these runes hold arcane secrets that could revolutionize magical knowledge and bestow extraordinary powers.
The ultimate goal is to gather all the rune inscriptions and return to the sage with the collected information safely. If they succeed, they will be generously rewarded for their efforts.
In this map, our heroes venture into a dense and vibrant forest. The main path is blocked by a gigantic fallen tree trunk, which poses a challenge for travelers using horse-drawn carriages. While those on foot can easily navigate around the obstacle, passage by carriage is obstructed.
As they explore the area, they discover that near this fallen trunk, a recent landslide has accumulated a mound of rocks at the base of the cliff. This landslide has created a kind of natural bridge that offers an easier route to climb the cliff towards the ritual stones from the first map. The heroes must assess the stability of this rock pile and find the best way to use it to facilitate their ascent.
At the bottom of the map, near the fallen trunk and the landslide, there is a dry area with various levels and rock formations that suggest it might have been a lake in ancient times. This dry area, with its level features and remnants of what could have once been water, may contain clues about the history of the place or useful resources.
This map has a 24x36 grid
All variations have a gridded and gridless version.
