Description

A warm, idyllic scene at the coast of a calm sea, this villa rests within a small village, a self-sustaining place of quiet serenity far off from all the wars and tragedies wrought in the towns and cities of the realm. Small white stone buildings with red slate roofs nestles snugly amongst rich, vibrant trees and around the welcoming Villa Barolo, a statue of some founding father of the village standing guard over the waters beyond. A lovely location to rest up for the night, perhaps.
Encounter Hook
Well, that's before you take into account the swathe of fish folk who have, of late, invaded the village and taken up residence in the and around the villa, disturbing the peace and causing havoc amongst the locals. The fish folk have quickly become the scourge of the populace, who might desperately implore the party to rid the village of the threat, some of the villagers having gone missing. However, the fish folk themselves may have arrived on this shore to escape something dark in the waters, a creature which may be found lurking beneath the surface and waiting to pounce.
