The theme of this map started out as a 'Fey Forest village' ... since then it has grown and changed with the inclusion of fun ideas from other folk over on my Discord server, and become something quite fantastical, with a giant boot house, oversized teapot, massive top hat, hot springs, an enteral ice palace, giant pine trees, a giant toadstool circle and an outdoor throne room/glade being some of the more dramatic locations... Some of the giant trees have hollowed out rooms and stair access up to the overhead rope web hang-out platforms. Most residents live in proper fairy (or hobbit?) earth mound houses. Newtown, isolated in the NW, is a more conventional village where non-locals and traders are expected to live and/or work. ...
My favorite locations are all of them... the Scholar's Huddle might sneak into first place by a hair though... a very unlikely place to find a vast underground library complex. And in close 2nd, the Giant stone story book that contains within, a portal access to this realm
The result is an eclectic fairy tail fantasy forest town that I hope you will enjoy exploring.
