The egg-hunt would take place, as it does every year this time around, with galloping and a great mob, out seeking these ornate eggs. Nobody really knows who or what lays them, but their value is extraordinary, and the bigger the egg, the heftier the price merchants and lords alike are willing to pay for them.
"JACKPOT!", I heard our ranger yell from the top of the tallest oak in the area, "THERE'S HUMONGOUS ONE RIGHT OVER THERE!". We all rushed towards the area he pointed us at, until we reached a clearing with a small creek going through it. He wasn't lying, this thing is massive, tower-sized even! Not only that, around it seemed to be a bunch of them, not as big, but definitely on the larger end of things.
"Heh, finally luck shines on us!", said our rogue, greedily rubbing his empty coin-pouch. "This will be the easier haul we've had yet!".
Not a second after these words left his mouth, I heard a massive crack.
"Uhhh, did you guys hear that...crack"?
