~Hello Adventurers!!

Narrative:

As you travel through the winding tunnels of the Underdark, your mind enters into a state of delirium. Without the welcoming presence of the sun to guide and warm your face, the endless darkness begins to wear on your sanity.

Not knowing which tunnels you've explored and which lead to a path of progression, you start to believe your fate will have you buried six feet under at the bottom of a ravine.
.
A distant sound strays you from your dark thoughts, and what seems to be a distant dream becomes a reality. Could it be... yes it is. The echoing sound of rushing water, glorious water!
.
You and your party scurry to the enchanting sound, and not but 50 ft. from where you stand, you see a cascading waterfall that splashes into a shallow pond of crystal clear water. You all rush forward and dive into the refreshingly cold pond.

The feeling of water beneath you relieves your sore and tired feet after nothing but traveling for several days in this humid air. You silently float alongside your companions for an hour or so; everyone seemed to lose track of time days ago.

One by one, you all begin to pitch up your tents as you all agree this would be your next resting location. You then spend every minute of your long rest enjoying the cool fresh water beneath your feet.

About the Artist:

Hello everyone! My name is BeatrixRae and I've been a fantasy cartographer for three years. My creative focus is on perspective interiors, vibrant exterior landscapes, and a variety of atmospheric locations with a strong lighting concept.
