Alien Menagerie

Whether you are role-playing in a grim-dark sci-fi universe or naively exploring the galaxy as an optimist, you’re going to run into aliens. Here are some.
Welcome honored guests to space station Menagerie!

Here we’ve collected samples of some of the galaxy’s most fearsome and exotic beasts for your viewing pleasure. Before the tour can begin it is my duty to inform you of our strict safety policies. Ignore them at your peril. To your left and right you will see the animals inside their specially designed enclosures. Please refrain from using flash photography as it may enrage some of the specimens. Remember to keep your hands inside the vehicle at all times and pay careful attention to your tour-guide’s instructions. In case of an emergency, remain calm and stand very still, a rescue team will come and collect you. If any of the animals have escaped, it is critical that you remain in place, their vision is based on movement, unless it is not, in which case run for your lives. You will know which ones are which if the person next to you is eaten. If the tour guide begins running away it is generally a good idea to follow. For your consideration, keep in mind that some of these aliens appear sentient, they are not. If any of them try to talk to you or you feel their minds psychically invading yours and filling you with the urge to kill and eat the person next to you, try to refrain from doing so. Do NOT attack the tour guides, they are armed and will not hesitate to shoot you.
Now that you have been informed of our safety procedures, the tour of the galaxy’s beasts can begin!

This Alien Menagerie contains species from many planets in our vast and beautiful galaxy and some from realms beyond! In this art pack you will find:

Sentient Aliens. There are quite a few species who can use tools and communicate with humans, which does not imply they are intelligent.
Items. Tools and weapons collected from other space civilizations, some of which are very familiar.
Beasts. Definitely non sentient, these aliens are the animal inhabitants of distant worlds. Some are quite dangerous, others can be domesticated.
Cyborgs. Either sentient or non-sentient creatures who have been technologically augmented.
Lovecraftian horrors beyond imagination and sleep paralysis demons. To be honest most of these aliens qualify as the above.
Carriers. Some of these tokens (the watcher, drone and trader) have nothing in their hands, but you can put an item in there to make it look like they’re carrying something.

This art pack started out as a fun side-project that I began for my Patrons. Now you can have it as a collection.
