With dusk approaching, the adventurers hurry on to reach the town before nightfall. The rickety old bridge gives the first hint all is not as promised. Crossing the bridge, deathly silence and dilapidated buildings greet them.
A dearth of cursing fishmongers, no jolly bald barkeeps, a distinct lack of dour samurai haggling with nervous merchants and, somewhat of a relief, zero pious priests glaring disapprovingly at the sinners of the world.
Where are the people? What happened? Will the party stay and solve the mystery or scarper before they share the fate of the previous inhabitants?
