The Bay of Fund is a long funnel-shaped bay with a tidal range (maximum height distance between low and high tides) of about 65ft.
This bay is filled with hundreds of caves that fill with water on high tides. Lots of junk and fish end up trapped in these caves.
It's pretty dangerous to enter the caves without a guide but some locals take advantage of the low tides and scavenge the stranded goods. Who knows, you may find some treasure from a recent shipwreck.
This cave is particularly well preserved because of the entrance. It looks like a giant creature got stuck in it and its skeleton is now supporting the structure. The Bay of Fund is called like this because it's said that if you are lucky enough the caves will reward you with valuable treasures that, if you use them to fund a business, it will always be successful. It would not be the first time that someone becomes rich by finding nice stuff in here.
