Battle Runes are for those of us who enjoy adding functional visual flair to their games.
They are used simply by inserting them under characters or monsters to represent conditions, or to visually show environmental effects, or locations of objects.
For example; ‘That monster is on fire!’ - Add a Fire Battle Rune under it for as long as the fire effect lasts and if the fire spreads, add another token or resize the current one to symbolize that to.
