City of Harcourt Gates

Hi everyone, and welcome to my City of Harcourt Gates map release! This is a great addition to my City of Harcourt map as well.

This 40x40 map features the city of Harcourt Gates I made for the Lunch Break Heroes adventure Zombies Attack (A special level 0 adventure you can find here).

This map features a road heading into the City of Harcourt from the forested region outside the city gates. As the players enter, they will be greeted by a bustling market selling all sorts of wares, along with a number of locations they can visit as they conduct their business in the city. This is a perfect map to introduce a new city to your players or to have the town attacked with your players trying to defend the gates!

I've created 18 different variants to help you set the perfect mood for your encounters. The variants included in this pack are:

Variants

Bright Color: This is a brighter version of the base map, and for this variant, I've brought out the richness in all of the colors
Bright Warm: Same bright feeling but with a bit of natural warmth to it
Dusty: Great for a more rundown feel to your games, this variant is lacking vibrancy and gives a feeling of destitution
Ghostly w/ Fog: I've deepened the shadows and added a green glow to this variant. Perfect for the undead to attack the town!
Ghostly: Same as above but without the fog
Gothic w/ Fog: Focusing on greys and diluting color, this is perfect for your gothic horror games
Gothic: Same as above but without the fog
Howling Streets w/ Snow: I ramped up the blues and whites to give this city a cold and snowy feel to it

Morning Light: A heavy warmth and light focus brings out the rays of sunshine as the sun rises over Harcourt
Night w/ Lights: The glow of the city at night is ignited by torch and lantern
Night: This night map is without any light sources. Great for an abandoned city street!
Night w/ Fog: Even more creepy mood as the fog rolls over the empty streets, devoid of life
Overcast: Muting the colors and giving the impression of looming, dark storm clouds overhead
Rain: Drench your players in this heavy rain!
Warm: Warm tones bring this map a cozy, comfortable feeling
Witchlight w/ Fog: Adding a dark fairytale mood to this map, the colors are wild and vibrant yet dark and moody
Witchlight: Same as above but without the fog
