The different versions of this battlemap are of course Roll20 compatible. This battle map RPG post apocalyptic highway deck is a remake of an old map I used to play with. But, rather than just sharing an old design, I decided to update all the details to give you a much more immersive map!
This battle map will be a great support for virtual tabletop and your own roleplaying scenarios. Of course it will be possible to use them in existing RPG universes, like: The Walking Dead RPG, Last of us, Z-Corps, Z-World, Mutant Year Zero, Vermin 2047, Metro 2033, Infected, Fallout, Wasteland, Torment. Originally, the 2017 version of this battle map was made to play the role-playing game Vermin 2047, filled with giant ravenous insects. This is a French RPG in crowdfunding (end of 2022 for foreign countries). You can now enjoy the remastered 2022 version with this post-apocalyptic bridge battlemap.
At first glance, the map may seem vast. But your sharp eyes as a player or GM will quickly realize that only one path seems to be passable: the post apocalyptic suspension bridge. Outside the bridge, thick and dangerous vegetation does not invite you to take a country walk. As for the locked vehicles, they will offer a great temptation to your players, but maybe not without bad surprises?
One of the central pillars of this dangerous battle map comes from the gaping hole where a truck and its trailer rest in a precarious balance. Do you want to go over it, or try to go around it by following the bridge, at the risk of coming face to face with what is hidden inside? This map offers many possibilities, the only limit of which will be your imagination (or your sadism?).
The numerous vehicles obscure the visibility; will it be wise to cross without thinking?
The trailers and trunks of the vehicles are mostly locked. Do they contain food for your players, weapons or terrible predators?
The post apo bridge has not been maintained in a long time and seems to be weakened. Will it last long enough to be crossed? Tick-tock...
Paw prints indicate the presence of predators in the area. If your players haven't seen or heard them yet, they've certainly spotted them.
