The chamber, once well-lit and full of life, now makes for a truly macabre sight. White marble flooring and the luxurious carpet covering it have been torn by blood red crystals, which seem to have infested the entirety of the castle. Their sickening crimson glow fills the entire room, but does little to actually illuminate it.
The throne dais looks even more dire, as it is almost entirely covered by the crystalline growths. Were the situation different, their rose-like shape would be beautiful, yet as it stands it only inspires dread. It is no wonder, as the castle's new vampire masters made sure to twist the building to fit their dark tastes, leaving no trace of its past inhabitants...
