There is never a signpost pointing 'Here there be ninjas'...
A quiet, unremarkable town. Safer than most. Simple honest folk who fish, farm, hunt and craft.
So forgettable the bandits and raiders in the region never make it there. Tax collectors too.
Perceptive visitors may notice some tatami mats don't sit flush with the others or some loose floor boards and roof tiles. Curious ones may find the mats and boards lift to reveal stairs into hidden cellars.
Adventurous folk or common thieves may go into the cellars and that's where it all becomes lethal...
Here is our Ninja Town map set. At 62 x 62 it is big.
Fourteen maps, gridded and ungridded. Three levels - rooftops, street cut and the dungeon. While the maps can be used for all manner of urban adventures with an underground tunnel system (cultists, smugglers, gangsters, etc), the original set was used a a ninja hideout. Some homage included for those who like Easter eggs. Enjoy.
Secret entrance locations are provided on two additional maps to allow GMs to link travel between the levels.
