The Priests of the Red Panda, or Firefox as it is known to the peasants, more interested in food and fun than politics, made some bad proclamations, offended the nobility and fell on hard times.
High Priest Sammy took the remaining alms and seeking divine inspiration went on a bender. The divine took the form of an ogre bouncer who hurled Sammy from the second floor of a bordello.
While unconscious on the side of the road, Sammy dreamed of temple renovations. It started small, with bingo, then they added a bar. Within months, the Temple of the Red Panda was the most popular joint in town, religions never pay tax and superstition keeps the local protection rackets at bay.
Grand Priest Sammy is now plotting expansion with temples in nearby towns...
