The White Star was damaged at sea, below the water line, and was run aground to make repairs. Half of its crew and the Captain were lost at sea. The survivors established a base on the beach and sent word to the ship's owners for workmen and materials to make repairs.
However, work has ceased due to an 'infestation' of creatures that have occupied the ship. The crew have reported sightings of “blue creatures from the sea”, “screaming bird things roosting on the fore deck” and appearances of “the walking skeleton of the Captain”. Someone also mentioned a “beautiful woman and a creepy bald guy with a poodle”.
It has now become the home of The Necromancer - who having been defeated once, is planning his revenge. He has developed a new breed of his 'Unshriven Vassal' using material from both Sahuagin and members of the White Star's crew.
The Sahuagin have realized that their raiding parties have not returned and have sent two more groups under the command of a Sahuagin Priestess to find and avenge them.
