Bakrel, The Malicious is a witnesser of immense power and greed. Witnessers are obsessive collectors, these creatures' lives are spent building large underground archives filled with all the things they desire, the objects and creatures over which they obsess. They are known to send their servants out into the world to find these treasures and then go to great lengths to protect them by constructing elaborate protected warehouses. Here, they meticulously catalog hundreds of magical items, petrified creatures, and rare plants. In some cases, witnessers abduct architects and engineers to design and build grand underground structures, which serve as both their home and the ultimate sanctuary for their cherished collection. Witnessers typically remain underground for years at a time, guarding and admiring what, to them, is their magnum opus—their collection.
