No Strings On Me is a horror-themed Fifth Edition adventure optimized for three to six characters of 7th level. Filled with untrustworthy allies, creepy monsters, and fun puzzles, this adventure is perfect if your table wants to tackle on more nightmarish themes.

If you're a fan of horror movies, you know there is nothing scarier than a creepy doll on a quest for blood. No Strings On Me is an adventure created explicitly for horror fans who want to give their party an experience that will leave them shivering. It fits perfectly into a 4-5 hour game night, jam packed with combat, as well as fun narrative beats.
In terms of theme, No Strings On Me is a mix between Avengers: Age of Ultron, Steven Spielberg's A.I. and Chucky. Think creepy sentient object.
It is unsettling, heartbreaking and a little whimsical. If you're interested in bringing your players into a mature world, then this is the adventure for you. It can even be used as a break from the main story, as it is set in a domain of dread.

Summary

Due to feeling lonely, a talented arcanist created Vicio, a puppet child who would love her forever and remain by her side. Then, when she finally managed to find love, Vicio turned evil due to his egotistical, self-centered personality and killed her husband. Due to his act of unthinkable and irredeemable cruelty, his makeshift soul was cursed. Mists arose around him, forming a domain of dread engineered just for him. A domain in which he would try to make his mother love him, haplessly, only to be haunted by the ghost of the man he slaughtered.

Now, hundreds of years since he first was created, Vicio is dragging new victims into his world, in hopes of putting on a show that will finally earn him the love he's always wanted. The party must ensure this show is a failure.
