Escaping the Nautiloid is a Fifth Edition adventure optimised for three to six characters of 12th level. A massive ship of alien design has been sighted, its occupants are powerful foes that threaten civilisation itself. You find yourselves aboard it, how will you take it down ?
This adventure is set in space and can be adapted to fit any campaign that has a mind-eaters or space, or both ! This adventure is best suited for parties that can handle themselves despite their gear, and who don't mind duking it out.
The heroes got captured on purpose in a nautiloid ship to allow the military to track them. One of the players has been equipped with a ring of projected mind shielding. They were enthralled by mind flayers and captured, but thanks to a clever ruse, the players managed to escape the mind control, and pretend to be mindless slaves since. They now need to find a way to bring the ship down. They are currently only wearing slave garments, all their gear has been confiscated. Tough situation, or is it ?
