This map was drawn to match the terraced and tropical farming landscape in some of the maps in my Farmland Maps bundle
All the maps are divided into 2 sections. Nth and Sth.
As well as the nice pleasent 'nothing going on here' map... there is a series of maps that show a spreading rot-plague....
There is some sort of rot spreading out from the SW cottage... Possibly created in a secret lab in the cellar under the storage shed? This rot turns everything outside of the houses grey/red/black - starting slowly with the trees, then later, rapidly accelerating and moving on to everything, even the rocks and dust.
It does not seem to kill anything completely, just change it's colour and make any food poisonous to outsiders. Strangely, the locals seem to be particularly healthy and become more so as the horror spreads, while outsiders who come into contact with it loose health and waste away ...
If you want to use the rot-plague set, there is a series of 8 maps (9 if you include the main map with no rot at all). The rot starts slowly and then escalates
Note that rot maps 1, 2, & 3 use the same 'Nth' section because the top/Nth part of the map is rot-free until rot map 4.
Have fun plotting encounters for this map :-)
