-Tlalocán basic dungeon building set-

This modular dungeon tile set is inspired by the temples of the ancient Mexica civilization, a culture that originated around 1325 from an exiled Aztec tribe that founded its capital city "Tenochtitlan" in the middle of the texcoco lake (now known as Mexico city) and was the dominant tribe of the center of the Mexican country in the previous epoch before the colonization of Spain.

This set is intended to help dungeon masters generate random dungeons for their campaigns and includes the following pieces:

12 starting areas
17 passages
12 chambers
2 stairs
3 floor tiles
32 doors (wood, stone, and steel in 5 different colors + 2 portcullis)
4 floor mosaics representing 3 gods and 1 ritual (xoloitzcuintle, tzompantli, Quetzalcoatl, Tlaloc)
6 false walls (3 painted and 3 raw)
4 pits
4 bottomless pits
4 pits with spikes
4 pits with lava
4 shallow pools
4 bottomless pools
2 pillars

The floor mosaics should be representing the following gods and rituals:

Gods-

Tlaloc: "The kind ruler, provider of life and nectar of the earth". Tlaloc, the deity of rain and thunder, has the power to control water and its one of the two most powerful Mexica deities (the other being Huitzilopochtli god of war and death). This god is king of atmospheric phenomena, prosperity, and resides in the depths of the ocean in his underwater palace known as "Tlalocán". Alongside his wife Chalchiuhtlicue (goddess of beauty, rivers and love) and his children (cloud entities) named "Tlaloques" (helpers of Tlaloc) he is ruler and protector of life, his several groups of followers don't tend to agree in a single way to express their faith to him and are fond to accept all types of rituals to please the deity and build temples to honor him. His alignment is Chaotic good.

Quetzalcoatl: God of wind and learning, this deity is patron of the arts, commerce, and knowledge and its commonly represented by a feathered snake. Legend says he used to live among the Mexicas as an honorable and thoughtful ruler, until the god Tezcatlipoca (deity of darkness and invisibility) tricked him by showing the god's true nature reflected in a smoking mirror crafted from a magical obsidian stone. Because of this, Quetzalcoatl lost its will and became a drunkard addicted to pulque (the alcoholic millennial drink) and after being ashamed for his actions he decided to banish himself into the treacherous mangrove kingdom of the Maya civilization until he could resolve his inner issues. But Quetzalcoatl promised his return and his follower are devoted to wait for him, and when he does, he will bring a new era of knowledge, prosperity, and beauty. His devotees tend to build altars for him inside of other gods temples or inside their own homes. His alignment is Lawful good.

Xolotl: Bearer of hell’s fire and twin brother of Quetzalcoatl. This deity gave the fire of knowledge to his brother to save humanity from damnation and created the companion dogs Xoloitzcuincle, whose main purpose is to guide the dead in their journey through the underworld. Even though he is not considered a main deity, his followers ask for his guidance to understand the mysteries of the afterlife. His alignment is Lawful neutral.

Ritual-

Tzompantli: The Mexica people were known as mighty warriors who believed that honor was earned upon killing strong enemies, so after winning a conflict against a rival tribe they would gather the skulls of the defeated, skin them and display them aligned horizontally and arranged by rank in a wooden structure in the main plaza so everyone could see. This also served as a ritual offered to the god of war and death Huitzilopochtli, who granted unbelievable strength and will to the ruthless elite Jaguar warriors.
