A fortress home to a transmutation wizard.
After many adventures across the world the wizard desired a safe haven to call their own and study in peace. Once a suitable remote site was found, a troop of craftsmen were commissioned to construct a small fortress of the local stone.
For a time the wizard enjoyed the new abode and it's privacy, but eventually grew bored of the cold unchanging stone. Using their transmutation skills they transformed the fortress into a hulk of metal.
Gone were the static stone walls, replaced with ever changing metal that sparkled in the sun, captured the colours of tapestries and books, and told its own story of time.
