A collection of massive maps for desert roads combat encounters!

This pack contains 32 huge encounter maps (40x40 square each) that can be combined into a total of eight colossal 80x80 battle maps. Roads are often the location where the combat takes place, be it a wild desert beast praying on travellers or a group of bandits preparing an ambush for a merchant caravan. This pack provides you with ample choice of different locations so even with a whole campaign set in a desert region you won't have to reuse the same map for every roadside encounter over and over. Now, if your players figured out they can ride around the battlefield on the party's druid or you ended up with that group of giant-weasel-riding-halfling-crossbow-snipers that only feel comfortable engaging the enemy at a distance of 100 feet then this map pack got you covered. Whenever the battle nears the border of the map you can add an adjacent piece on the fly. So if your players want to attack from a distance and still have some room to retreat behind them you can quickly put together a 40x80 map to accommodate that.

Combining the maps is easy: each piece is 40x40 squares wide and has a capital letter and a number added to its name. If you follow the pattern presented in the preview images the maps will merge seamlessly together. So for example Desert Roads 01_A1 will have Desert Roads 01_A2 to its right and Desert Roads 01_B1 goes directly below 01_A1.
