So, have your players uncovered an unknown alien ruin and intend to explore it? Or maybe they are a militaristic space purists who have been itching to board that pesky xeno spaceship and zealously purge all that hide within? Or are they themselves playing as aliens and are planning to naruto-run straight into the Involuntary Probing Facility n.51 to free all the humans held inside? Well, if your answer to any of those questions is yes, then this tile set is certainly for you.
The pack offers a selection of alien-themed corridors, rooms, electronics and furniture that will allow you to build anything from a small remote xeno outpost to a full-blown multi-level alien mothership-dungeon. There are two pre-made maps: an alien spaceship and a 4-level science compound. They are cut into smaller 15x15 square pieces that fit together as shown in the preview images. The corridors are 3-square wide (5x5 pieces) and 1-square wide (3x3 pieces) that fit together seamlessly. To connect rooms or smaller/larger corridors use images named 'entrance'. When put on both sides they will connect different rooms. There are three main themes in this pack: default, damaged/old and radioactive sludge sewers. There also are hangars, platforms, energy barriers, external walls and spaceship thrusters. Additionally, there are 10x10 square backgrounds that fit seamlessly when put next to each other evenly. They include structural metal, empty space, alien desert, alien cracked earth and radioactive sludge.
In this tile set, you get:
- 99 structural items (corridors, rooms, ground platforms, hangars)
- 127 furniture items (consoles, computers, chairs, beds, tables, containers)
- 2 pre-made maps (divided into 28 pieces, each 15x15 squares wide)
- 12 wall items (outer walls, building entrances)
- 5 backgrounds (in 10x10 pieces with seamless borders)
- 7 connecting items (room or corridor entrances)
Note: When putting together an especially large map on a single page I would recommend drawing the dynamic light lines in a simplified pattern, rather than exactly following the corridor walls. Due to a large amount of bends this might create an unnecessary lag, especially for players with slower internet connections.
