Of course, its a generic map, so you can use it anywhere, however I drew it based on a similar round building with a gold roof in a forest clearing just south of the City of Trinpari
I drew this map for versatility, it could be a temple, a shrine, a small school, or even a 'portal-hub' location, or all of that , or something else...
As a portal-hub, this could be somewhere that your adventurers return to time and time again as they find matching portals in other locations and use them to get out of tricky situations or just to quickly get around their world.
30x30 battle map scale (1 square = 5 feet) map of a circular, 2 level building, with the surrounding meadow and forest, with paths going off in 4 directions.
The ground level is open, with 10 mosaics on the floor that could represent 10 different gods and/or could be used as portals to other locations, as well as a small kitchen and a central courtyard with a key-hole shaped pool of water...
The upper level has a small library with a classroom at one end, several bedrooms, a store room with another bed squeezed up the back and a dining/sitting area. A dumb waiter lift (large enough for a small person to fit into) connects the downstairs kitchen with the upstairs dining area.
7 Base map variants
* Ground floor with/without assets, with/without courtyard trees
* Upper level with/without assets
* Roof view
Extra overlays for plot versatility
* 10 mosaics as png files - if using the mosaics as portals, these can be used on other maps so that you have the other end of a paired portal link
* 1 blank mosaic png file - one of the portals is broken and the black tiles forming the picture are missing? Use the blank one as an overlay until someone finds those missing tiles
* 3 mosaic sized 'magic glow' png files - use as an overlay to show which portal is active
* 8 Courtyard png files - with/without magic glow, with/without tree canopy... maybe that whole courtyard can turn around to point to a mosaic... and thus activating it as a portal?
I hope you have some fantastic adventures here
