The Ravenwood

Hi everyone, and welcome to The Ravenwood map release! This map features a fenced, dirt road running along the bottom of the map with a small roadside shrine set up to an ancient forest deity. There is a small open area before leading into the Ravenwood, a collection of gnarled beech trees that seem to have a large conspiracy of ravens attracted to them. The overlapping cawing can be heard from the road below. What these intelligent and strange birds are saying is a mystery to most travelers who pass through here. Some say it is a sign of good fortune while others says the ravens are warning travelers of dangers that lurk deep within the Ravenwood.

Map Features

• Grid Size: 30x40
• Features a Tree / No Tree Version
• Includes two different tree overlay tiles you can use with the foreground layer. One contains ravens perching/flying above the beech trees, while the other does not include any ravens
• For the darker colors, has a light / no light version for the road lamps
• Has six different color moods so you can match the map to the atmosphere you are trying to build
• Includes weather overlay tiles for fog, rain, and sun rays. Make it a beautiful morning with the Sunny Day color mood and Sun Ray weather, or make it moody and creepy with the Gloom color mood and fog weather.
