It is said this place was destroyed by a massive volcanic eruption. At the center of the chamber burns an endless pool of lava, surrounded by stone platforms that barely withstand the heat and the passing of time. The lava creeps forward slowly, as if the volcano still breathes.
This recent volcanic activity drew the attention of a lone scholar, known for his research on elemental energy. Convinced that ancient structures from lost civilizations lie beneath the crater, he ventured in alone to investigate... and never returned.
The villagers from the scholar’s hometown, alarmed by his disappearance and the growing tremors, have hired a group of adventurers with a clear mission: find the researcher before it’s too late.
