Set in England in the year of our Lord 1247, Kettlesburg stands not as a beacon of glory, but as a monument to human endurance. This is no village of shining heroes and grand castles; it is a testament to survival, etched in mud and stone. Every creak of a floorboard, every rusted hinge, tells a story of a town that refuses to fall.
Kettlesburg has been broken, but never defeated. Its fields, once green, may have become a treacherous bog at the whim of a dragon's curse. Its river, the lifeblood of the community, may have run crimson, corrupted by the malice of an unnamed dark lord. Through every blight and battle, the people have known nothing but hardship. Yet, with each new dawn, they cling to the stubborn, unyielding hope that has seen them through the darkest of nights.
