The map is a dreamlike arena with strange gates leading to surreal, otherworldly trial zones—like pocket dimensions or parts of the Astral Plane. Players must complete four emotion-based trials to activate the central portal.
While movement is technically possible (e.g., via Fly or Feather Fall), it's best to limit it for narrative effect. The enchanted terrain is unstable and ever-shifting, influenced by intent rather than force—think disorienting winds, déjà vu, and memory-like distortion.
Each gate feels subtly wrong, like stepping into a warped memory. As trials are completed, glowing magical threads appear, stabilizing the terrain and guiding players forward. Included tokens help visually track these changes.
