Every campaign needs some obstacles for players to overcome, and what's a bigger obstacle than plotting an assault on a fortress? Whether this be a guard outpost in the woods, a military base for an invading or occupying army, or a ramshackle fort constructed by local bandits or mercenaries, this is sure to give your players some headaches!
Do they attack by the river, or try storming the gates? There's a sewer pipe in the left of the fort if they want to try and sneak in through the disused sewage system, or they could attack a blindspot by climbing the hill at the rear of the fort. Either way, they're sure to have a heck of a time!
