City Council

Today's session of the Council is of paramount importance, as a grave matter shall be discussed. For once, the ups and downs of trade, the needs of the aristocracy, the fleeting demands of faraway countries... will be glanced over. Today, the question they shall ask and answer, will be : "What shall we do about the rampant criminality that plagues our slums ?". Let's hope the councillors won't be interrupted...

Day — A comforting sun irradiates the council chamber through the windows.
Debate — Everyone came prepared for today's session of the council with a bounty of papers, maps, registers and quills ! They are ready to question you. Are you ready to answer ?
Night — Calming moonlight slips through the glass windows, giving the chamber a surreal look.
Bloody Day/Night — Today was the day of a terrible massacre. The ministers, their councillors, the guards... Nobody was spared during this tragic bloodbath that toppled the city head to toe.
Fey — Fairy lights illuminate the council room.
Ghostly — Strange, ghostly light penetrates into the council room through the windows. What terrible spectral emanation could be responsible for this ?
Dual Thrones (Day/Night) — This variation presents no council table. Instead, you'll see two thrones, one for the regent and their consort... or maybe their councillor ?
Single Throne (Day/Night) — In this version, a single throne faces the door : the symbol of a grand and terrible power.
