Hi Hi There.
Our heroes have had a bit of bad luck: unknowingly, their small money pouch was stolen, leaving them without the means to buy what they need to continue their journey. In an attempt to recover some money, they decide to head to some ruins in a nearby forest, hoping to find some valuable items they can sell at the market.
Upon arriving at the ruins, they realize that they are quite destroyed. The only structure still standing is an old ceremonial center where the leaders of the towns that once inhabited this region used to gather. Below, the ruins are less impressive: remnants of houses, scattered stones, and barely visible paths under a white blanket. A river crosses the map from side to side. As they explore the area, they notice ancient inscriptions and fragments of statues, but nothing of immediate great value.
Suddenly, a chill runs down their spines. Before they can react, an icy gust begins to consume the forest, transforming the lower half of the landscape into a wintry scene covered in snow. The contrast is striking: while the upper half of the forest remains in full spring, the lower half turns into a relentless winter.
What will our heroes do? Will they continue their mission to find some valuable items in the ruins, or will they venture into the winter to find out what is happening?
