With a splash you find your way down the greasy ladder and alongside the rotten tunnels. The air is stifling, charged with putrid fumes and the musty scent of sewage water. Dead animals and cast away litter flow alongside the narrow edge, washing away with everything this city has forgotten : its rubbish, its broken furniture, its broken citizens. The ill, the criminals, the exiled hide away in these tunnels, not far from monsters' lairs and age old ruins belonging to dead civilizations. Explore the underground all you like but be mindful of the dreaded encounters that lurk within, in the city sewers, below everyone's feet!

Base — The busy city above gets rid of all sorts of things down there. Forgotten things. Neglected things. As they say though, a man's trash is another man's treasure. Be wary of the creatures that made their kingdom out of this waste!
Empty canals — The fetid waters were drained out recently. At the bottom of the canals, grimy puddles still subside amidst the trash and animal corpses, attracting all manners of rodents. You don't know how much time you have to reach your destination before water comes pouring in again. Better make it quick!
Arcane sludge — An arcane experiment clearly went wrong in some laboratory above. The persons at fault didn't want the guards to be involved and decided to throw everything down the drain. The consequences? Yours to take care of.
Blood — The riot turned into a massacre. The sewers overflow with blood and body parts, attracting all kinds of beasts down there. Now they had a taste for blood, who knows when they'll decide to show up above and raid some peaceful, sleeping abode at night?
Dread — The green grime, the red of the blood, the blackest of oils lingering amidst the waste water, the blue of the mushrooms growing from the walls... it all vanished, now replaced with a menacing grey hue. Something strange and foreboding happened down here. But what?
Gloom — A ghostly light shines through the sewers, giving them an even more disturbing appearance.
Noxious fumes — Toxic clouds made of yellow dust linger in the air. The atmosphere is suffocating. You press your handkerchief against your mouth but to no avail. Your vision blurs. Your head spins. You have but a few minutes of consciousness left in you. You must hurry!
Toxic waste — The sewers are filled with a strange poison, of violet color and pungent, almost sweet, odor. Evidently, some nefarious scheme is in preparation. But who is behind it? and to what end?
