Wizard's Mansion
Give a mage a home ! The strange tower radiates of arcane energy. Its confines are infinite. Its dweller, as secretive as they are paranoiac. Rooms over rooms over rooms of alchemical constructs, deadly roots and forbidden tomes spin in your mind. You feel exhausted climbing all these stairs that never end. You feel jealous, witnessing the extravagant luxury of another's life. You feel nauseous, contemplating the cosmos beyond the Veil. Deranged was the mind behind this palace. Folly and power mix poorly amongst the wielders of the arcane.

- Mage's home — Base version. Arcane flames shine over the halls of the secluded palace, their bluish flame projecting an ethereal light. The wizard fled the racket of the world, seeking shelter in a demi-plane of their own creation. It has everything they need : a vast library, an alchemical laboratory, a green house to grow ointments, poisons and other reagents... and, of course, living quarters. Statues of their peers adorn the halls, the window in their bedroom leads to the starlit vacuum of space, mouthwatering delicacies appear each day on their table... yet, this is a prison of their own making.
- Destroyed — The palace is now ransacked. Books and notes covered in strange glyphs were piled all over the place in a careless manner. The laboratory and bedroom are destroyed. Someone was looking for something. Something of great value to them. What could this be ?
- Foliage Folly — After years without care, the plants in the greenhouse have gone wild... and rampant. Some of the more magical weeds have taken to themselves to conquer that demi-plane for their own invasive species. You'll need a good herbicide if you are to reach the end of this magical mansion !
- Parasited from Beyond — Whatever the wizard was trying to call forth from beyond the Veil, it evidently backfired. Strange fleshy growths invade the halls, projecting their long tendrils through the doors and portals, reaching every day a bit further... a bit closer to the material plane. What was the mage trying to summon from the Astral plane ? and how to undo it... if possible at all ? This is what you were sent to uncover.
