The party, adventuring in your setting's main city, decided to make a bold play. In most cases, that didn't go as they wished, and they were forced to relocate their adventuring elsewhere. They oiled the smuggling mechanism with a pouch of gold, finding themselves under the cargo in one of many merchant ships in the well-guarded harbor.
Two days later, their blindfolds went down in a suspicious-looking cave, greeted by the man they encountered before. A pirate with a score to settle with them.
