Hell bridge

Many can enter the fortress of Dhol-Ghulaz ; none will leave. Thousands of spirits are trapped in the surrounding ashen lands. A great chorus of souls howl at the approach of travellers, seeking to enter the iron palace. The strange guardians of the citadel do not sleep, neither do they close their eyes nor breathe. It is not born yet, the soul that may pass unnoticed the eternal gaze of the fortress' eternal watchers. Do not enter the maze of the Lord of Chains. Do not approach the iron gate surrounded by nightshade. Do not lay eyes on the bridge of hell... For, if you enter the palace, the palace can claim you.

Hellfire — Red hot lava slowly flows under the iron bridge. Careful. Choose your next step carefully !
Frozen Hell — It finally arrived. Hel froze over. Between the slippery ice, dangling stalactites and fire colder than ice, you must keep your wits about you. What strange creatures may lurk in such an extreme environment ?
Flow of the Damned — The imprisoned souls of more than a thousand contractors slithers away under the bridge, waiting for you to join their ranks.
Fog of the Dead — A heavy fog covers the bridge in a cold, humid mantle blocking your sight. Watch out !
Styx River— Bones, skulls and tortured souls howl under the bridge in a cacophony of pitiful cries and angry shouts. Is it a vision of your own future, perchance ?
Arcane Fire — The amounts of raw magic energy in the air are enough to cause arcane surges in the area, as lightning bolts dart around in the black sky and blue fires erupt from the ground.
Acid Fire — The air is filled with the sickening stench of decomposing carcasses and the heavy scent of sulfur. A river of acid flows under the bridge.
Fey fire — In the middle of this desolated landscape, a touch of colour illuminates the bridge. Purple and pink fires erupt from the flowing lava. What strange host may inhabit this forlorn citadel ?
