Gothic Village

Hi everyone, and welcome to my Gothic Village map release! This massive 40x60 map features the streets of a large Gothic village featuring 27 fully detailed interior locations (Some of which have multiple floors beyond the 1st floor).

This map is perfect for any dark fantasy or gothic campaign you might be running and has tons for your players to interact with. From the elderly woman selling her magic meat pies from her cart to the horrid smell of burning bodies as the town attempts to curb the rising dead.

Some buildings are abandoned (by at least the living) or full of swarms of rats, feasting on whatever remains they can find while other villagers do their best to stay alive in this dark and dreary place.

Tell all manner of stories with this sprawling city map! With 96 total map files, you'll be sure to find a version that fits your campaign needs perfectly.

Variants

Each map has four core versions, which include the exterior, 1st floor, 2nd floor, and 3rd floor / attic levels.

I've created 8 color variants to help you set the perfect mood for your encounters. Each variant contains various weather effects, such as fog & rain, in addition to versions without lights so you can control your own lighting. The variants included in this pack are:

Dark Fairytale: This version has a playful yet creepy feel to it, focusing on darkening up the map while bringing out the deep colors.
Sunny Day: A brighter version of the map focusing on a sunny and vibrant feeling.
Ghostly: An eerie green glow creates a haunted and ghostly feeling.
Gloom: This version focuses on toning down the map's colors and deepening the shadows.
Overcast: Toning down the colors and creating a grey and moody feel hints at looming rain clouds above.
Warm: This version is a good mix of light and warmth and focuses on the vibrancy of the colors used.
Night: The silvery moonlight twinkles over this map, creating a dark moonlight feel.
Verdant: For a more overgrown and wild feeling, this variant focuses on the lush greenery and vibrancy of the surrounding area.
