Narrative:
The chaos of the battle outside echoes throughout the corridors. The smell of rot follows you, as you try to read the map of Lolth's ziggurat, but Undercommon was never a language you fully grasped. With your party in front of you, you make your way through the ziggurat, until you see the purple glow cresting the corner. You draw your weapons and stay close to the wall, for the final battle is upon you.
Quietly you turn the corner and stare at your target......the heart of the Underdark. The life and being of the Underdark, the most precious possession, the Drow hold dear. The Heart pulses with arcane energy and tendrils of dark matter circle around the platform. Your party begins to approach the Heart.
As you follow behind, something doesn't feel right. The room stands unprotected and eerily quiet from the outside. You scan the room with your Darkvision and barely see the shiny strand of material hanging from the ceiling. You follow it and look under the platform, to see the dozens of glowing eyes approaching you. When you try to stop your party before they pursue further, you can already see one of the eight legs appear from under the platform.
Hello everyone! My name is BeatrixRae and I've been a fantasy cartographer for three years. My creative focus is on perspective interiors, vibrant exterior landscapes, and a variety of atmospheric locations with a strong lighting concept.
As a GM, myself, I love to excite my players with a new exotic location for them to explore, and I hope to bring that same excitement to your RPG table!
