Classic Treasure Chest Mimics + Door Mimic + Mug Mimic
Mimics tend to have two forms... that of their “monster” form and that of a stationary object. When mimics are motionless in their object form they are indistinguishable from ordinary objects. Mimics are hungry, savage beasts who want a nice meal and are greedy creatures, consuming anything from animals to humanoids, to even their own master (if given the opportunity).
Mimics make their home in many random locations including dungeons, a mage's property (guarding valuable secrets), a hag's hut, castles, shops, or even someone’s home. They wait around for potential victims to come to them for a nice easy snack and as this requires limited movement or energy from the mimic itself, it finds this very ideal.
