Gothic Village Outskirts

Hi everyone, and welcome to my Gothic Village Outskirts map release! This 40x30 map features various farm buildings off of a muddy road leading to a nearby village. This map has gothic overtones of struggling crops, abandoned and ruined buildings, and dull light looming overhead.

This map contains a main road cutting through four farmstead buildings; one ruined, one abandoned, and two lived-in. In addition, this map features both exterior and full interiors of each building, and I've created a variant with and without lights so you can gauge the level of spooky you want to add.

Variants

I've created 8 different variants to help you set the perfect mood for your encounters. Each variant contains various weather effects, such as fog & rain, along with versions without lantern lights. The variants included in this pack are:

Dark Fairytale: This version has a playful yet creepy feel to it, focusing on darkening up the map while bringing out the deep colors.
Bright: A brighter version of the map focusing on a sunny and vibrant feeling.
Ghostly: An eerie green glow creates a haunted and ghostly feeling.
Gloom: This version focuses on toning down the map's colors and deepening the shadows.
Natural: Toning down the colors and creating a more natural feel to the muddy ground and grasslands.
Warm: This version is a good mix of light and warmth and focuses on the vibrancy of the colors used.
Night: The silvery moonlight twinkles over this map, creating a dark moonlight feel.
Verdant: For a more overgrown and wild feeling, this variant focuses on the lush greenery and vibrancy of the surrounding area.
