Swamp Town

Hi everyone, and welcome to my Swamp Town map release! This 40x40 map features a small village built over wooden walkways paving the way across fetid and marshy swampland. This map includes over 15 locations for your party to explore, including a two-story tavern, a church, a doctor/herbalist, and plenty of homes. I created three core maps for this pack, which include a 1st-floor map, a 2nd-floor map (church bell tower and 2nd floor of the inn and doctors), and a roof level map.

Repel invading swamp beasts, solve the mysteries of a strange illness that has taken over the town, or use this as a hub of operations while your players explore the dangerous wilds surrounding it. These folks are hardy to live in these conditions each day and will expect no less from your adventuring party!

Variants

I've created 8 different variants to help you set the perfect mood for your encounters. Each variant contains various weather effects such as fog, rain, and sun rays. The variants included in this pack are:

Dark Fairytale: This version has a playful yet creepy feel to it, focusing on darkening up the map while bringing out the deep colors.
Sunny Day: A brighter version of the map focusing on a sunny and vibrant feeling.
Ghostly: An eerie green glow creates a haunted and ghostly feeling.
Gloom: This version focuses on toning down the map's colors and deepening the shadows.
Overcast: Toning down the colors and creating a grey and moody feel hints at looming rain clouds above.
Warm: This version is a good mix of light and warmth and focuses on the vibrancy of the colors used.
Night: The silvery moonlight twinkles over this map, creating a dark moonlight feel.
Verdant: For a more overgrown and wild feeling, this variant focuses on the lush greenery and vibrancy of the surrounding area.
