Whether you are role-playing in a grim-dark space-war universe or a more grounded sci-fi setting these Navy Stormtroopers fit right in.
The breacher squad infiltrated the space-station’s superstructure via the non-functioning exhaust port near its gravity well. From there, their first target was the well’s control system. By switching it off and then destroying it, the squad would instantly convert the whole place into a zero-G battlefield giving the stormtroopers a significant combat advantage. These men are trained how to fight in just such an environment. From then the next closest target was the main fuel depot, placing detonation charges and setting it on fire, was a sure way to cause maximum mayhem on board as the defenders would struggle to put out the flames in zero gravity, in the worst case scenario they would be forced to vent the air out of large sections of the station into space, in order to starve the fire for oxygen. Together with the flames and most of their air they would vent many of the crew who hadn’t had time to secure themselves. The stormtrooper squad’s third and final target was life-support and oxygen production. Permanently disabling the defenders’ ability to produce new oxygen would force them to surrender or drown. The Imperial Navy would accept their surrender eventually, however discussion of terms might take a few days. The intergalactic federation of star-systems’ criminal court names the employment of similar methods and space-combat tactics as war-crimes. The Imperial Navy Stormtrooper core calls them “standard procedure”. The Empire and the Federation do not see eye to eye on many things.
Specially trained to conduct war by boarding enemy space-ships and disabling their vital components, the Navy Stormtroopers are soldiers and engineers who conduct war with brutal efficiency. They are a potent threat to any space-pirate or alien vessel that makes the mistake of violating the Solar Empire’s sovereign territory.
