RPG-General: Summer Campaign Map Pack

This collection contains 20 handmade maps compatible with Roll20's v-hex grid system. Maps depict large scale terrain most suitable for use with tabletop wargaming and military strategy game systems. Alternatively, maps in this collection can be used for other rpg systems that rely on v-hex grid, games that benefit from large scale battlemaps (ones that involve moving in colossal mecha or fighting enormous monsters for example) or they can be used as campaign region maps for overland travel.

This pack contains a total of 20 assets:

-20 different v-hex warmaps (25x25 square, or 22x25 hexes),

Maps offer a variety of terrain features, such as plains, forests, rivers, swamps, lakes, coasts, cities, roads, bridges and railroads. The map layouts have been designed to offer a variety of strategic and tactical challenges as well as cover a wide range of possible wargaming scenarios.

How to use:

A big advantage of the maps in this pack is their compatibility with Roll20's hex grid system, which allows GMs and players to fully benefit from features like grid snapping and measurement tools. Maps in this pack have been tailor-made to fit the unique characteristics of the hexagonal grids used by Roll20 Tabletop, allowing players to create large maps quickly, without assembling them hex-by-hex. This way GMs can spend more time playing and less time preparing the scenarios. Finally, users who enjoy playing rpg systems that require a v-hex grid can incorporate the maps easily and quickly into their campaigns.

To add a map to your game:
1. Locate the map you want in the Marketplace Purchases section of the Roll20 in-game art library tab.
2. Create a blank 25x25 square grid page and drag and drop a warmap into the map layer (the image will auto-fit to the page).
3. Go to the page settings, change the grid type to v-hex and set the grid opacity to 0%.
4. You are ready to go! It just works.

This process can be done in under a minute, allowing you to create new scenarios quickly or even on the fly, should your players spontaneously surprise you with an unexpected decision. It's easy, simple and above all fast.
